Main Beach is a suburb on the Gold Coast in Queensland, and is a trendy and affluent beachside area offering a diverse range of attractions which draw people to this region. The name of Main Beach was derived from being the main surf beach for the town of Southport. The area is accessible from Brisbane by a half hour car ride straight down the Gold Coast Highway; alternatively individuals may choose to fly directly into the Gold Coast airport.
